Wut, Überforderung und Traurigkeit wurden am häufigsten bei den als subjektiv schwierig erlebten Gefühlen in der Klientenarbeit genannt.
In nahezu allen Strategien gab es keine signifikanten Unterschiede hinsichtlich Geschlecht und Berufsjahren.
Ein signifikanter Unterschied zeigte sich in der selten angewandten Strategie „blackout“, wobei die weniger berufserfahrenen diese Strategie häufiger angaben als die Befragten mit höherer Berufserfahrung.
Ein nahezu signifikanter Geschlechtsunterschied zeigte sich in der Strategie „soziale Unterstützung“, wobei die weiblichen Kolleginnen diese Strategie öfter anwenden als die männlichen Kollegen.

Die Psychologin Mechthild Schäfer geht nach einer Langzeitstudie davon aus, dass in Deutschland jede Woche 500.000 Kinder und Jugendliche gemobbt werden.
